Boise, Idaho (CBS2) – One of the most photographed events in Boise returns Labor Day weekend.

The Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic is taking place August 28th-September 1st at Ann Morrison Park.

Tips to help you enjoy the event

  • Leave your pets at home. The burners that power the balloons make a sound that is inaudible to people but hurts the ears of your pets.
  • Take lots of pictures! The pilots and crew are more than happy to be part of your photos!
  • No drones allowed!
  • Don’t step on a balloon.
  • Lawn chairs are welcome. Just be ready to move your chair if a pilot or crewmember asks you to do so.
