Bea Miller has taken the world by storm, and she’s done it one day at a time. As one of the music industry’s biggest influences on today’s teens, she never fails to impress us with her personality, music, and trend-setter ability.

Through her music and voice, she’s used it to her advantage to spread love and positivity to her fans all around the world. Bea has recently toured with Selena Gomez and released her latest single titled, “Yes Girl“.

An empowering song representing someone who no longer wishes to be told what to do or to be controlled. A song about speaking out, saying no, being your own person, and breaking free.

CelebMix had the pleasure of speaking to dedicated Bea fans on why they love her so much, and what Yes Girl means to them.

Mikayla | 16 | United States – “Bea is such a genuine and humble person which is someone who is often hard to find. Yes Girl is about breaking free from toxic relationships.”

Ellie | 16 | Canada – “It’s been over a year since I started listening to Bea and I don’t regret that decision. I’ve been able to connect and relate to Bea and her music in a very different and unique way. Usually when I’m listening to a certain artist, I have a unique and one-of-a-kind connection to their music and that’s exactly what I have with Bea.

Bea is such a huge inspiration to me because she’s basically everything that I’d like to be in the future. She’s honestly one of my biggest role models; she’s extremely positive, she puts everyone before herself and tries to make people happy with her personality and her music, she’s down to earth. She’s honestly a sweetheart.

Bea means a lot to me on a personal level because she’s the reason why my dreams of one day making it in the music industry are still alive. Since I was four years old, I’ve wanted to be a musician and there have been countless times where I nearly gave up, but Bea is the reason why I didn’t. She’s motivated me to keep going and keep dreaming because she’s done it, so why can’t I?

Yes Girl is not only my favourite song at the moment, but it’s honestly one of those songs that has touched me in a way that’s different from the way other songs have. Honestly just listening to the lyrics and how much passion she’s put into the song, you can learn a lot.

From what I’ve learned from the song is that I’ve learned to say no. I’ve learned how to put my foot down, I’ve learned how to prevent people from taking control of me, I’ve learned how to speak out and let my voice be heard, I’ve learned how to be more confident in myself. I’ve learned how to be me.

Yes Girl has taught me a lot of things that I wouldn’t have learned from other musicians; I’m hoping that one day I can make a difference in someone’s life through my music the way Bea has with my life.

Honestly, there aren’t enough thank yous in the world that I could say that would make up for the effect Bea has had on my life. She’s had such a huge involvement on the person that I am today, and I wish we were best friends so I could tell her that every day.

I just want to thank Bea for being my role model, my inspiration, the reason I smile every day, the reason my dreams are still alive, and for being my unofficial best friend. Thank you for everything Bea – I love you so much.”

Noel | 16 | United States – “I love Bea because she speaks her mind on what she believes in, which is why Yes Girl is such a reminder to do that as well.”

Justine | 17 | Philippines – “I love Bea because she’s such a passionate artist and she inspires a lot of people around the world. What Yes Girl means to me is that no one should control you or make decisions for you. No one should make you feel any less of the human being that you are.”

Victoria | 16 | Bulgaria – “I love Bea because she is a really passionate and caring person. For me, Yes Girl means that I shouldn’t let people make decisions for me, when I can make them on my own.”

Kailey | 13 | Canada – “Bea does her own thing. She tries to ignore negativity and only has love in her heart. I’m so thankful for her. When she sees that there’s a problem in the world she’ll try and fix it through her music and voice; she only wants the best for everyone.

Yes Girl has inspired me and so many to do what we love and to stop spending time on people that don’t care. It’s taught me that I need to stand up for myself and what I believe in, regardless of what people say. To do what I am passionate about and what I love, no matter what the outcome or comments of others may be. It’s taught me to believe in me.”

Nada | 17 | Morocco – “I love Bea because she makes me feel confident and strong. I think that Yes Girl emphasizes that feeling even more.”

Jana | 16 | Canada – “I love Bea because she is the most kindhearted person on earth; she’s so positive and caring. She’s an amazing person inside and out; she always connects with us through her music and lyrics so everyone can relate to it.

Yes Girl is such an empowering song because the song symbolizes that you are your own person, that nobody can control you, or make you feel less than you are, or tell you what to do.”
