Power Rangers is a long-running live-action television series and massive entertainment franchise comprised of books, movies, merchandise, video games, and more that has been ongoing since the 1990s.
Since Hasbro acquired the franchise in 2018, there have been two new productions, including Power Rangers: Dino Fury and Power Rangers: Beast Morphers. The upcoming Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury is a direct sequel to Dino Fury and the 30th overall season of Power Rangers.
Cosmic Fury commemorates the 30th anniversary of the franchise and will pick up right after the ending events of Dino Fury when the Rangers embark on an interstellar chase through outer space after the villainous Lord Zedd.
According to Morphin Legacy, Cosmic Fury marks the “first time since the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers debuted in 1993 that the current cast of Power Rangers: Dino Fury will return as the beloved Power Rangers for a third season.”

There are 30 seasons of Power Rangers overall, but Cosmic Fury is the name of one specific season. However, you’ll want to watch the preceding season, Dino Fury, to understand the new one since Cosmic Fury is a direct sequel.
