Multiple Days, Times and Library LocationsDescription
Read with a four-legged friend from the Denver Pet Partners! Dogs are the perfect reading companions because they create a relaxed, comfortable and safe environment for sharing books. Children must be able to read independently and are encouraged to share a favorite book.
Registration is recommended, reserves you a 15-minute session with a dog, and begins two weeks prior to the date of the program.
PAWS for Reading occurs on the following days and times at the libraries listed below:
Belmar Library | 555 S Allison Pkwy, Lakewood
- Mondays 3:00pm - 5:00pm (ONLY on the First Monday of the month beginning February 5th))
Columbine Library | 7706 W Bowles Ave, Littleton
- Saturdays 1:00pm - 3:00pm (EVERY OTHER Saturday beginning January 13th))
Lakewood Library | 10200 W. 20th Ave., Lakewood, CO 80215
- Wednesdays 3:00pm–5:00pm ( ONLY on the FIRST Wednesday of each month)
