I’m originally from CT but I’ve called Sarasota home for the past 6 years. My husband Vinnie and I have been married almost 20 years and we have two boys, Rocco (12) and River (9). We also have 3 y/o mini goldendoodles, Isla and Lulu…I needed to even out the energy of the house. :)
When I am not working, you can likely find me at the field watching the boys play lacrosse, football or soccer. I also love yoga, reading, coffee shops, travel, brunchin’, the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
First Corporate, now Squeeze, you seem to have a knack for bringing quality wellness and luxury services to Sarasota. Where does that come from?
My career has been largely centered around healthcare and wellness. I’m driven by my passion for meaningful work experiences and helping people feel good.
This is my second journey as an entrepreneur. In 2007, I co-founded CT-based Sleep Solutions which supported patients who suffered from obstructive sleep apnea. I sold the company in 2015 and took some time to be a SAHM before figuring out what was next in my career.
A while back, my husband and I were talking about ways we could be more involved in our community and build a business that centered around wellness. That’s when I found Squeeze.
The playful branding captivated my attention immediately on Instagram. Once I started to read more about the company's forward thinking approach, people centric values, and their vision to “Transform Communities for Good” I knew I had found the right opportunity. Once I met our support team and Co-Founder, Brittany Driscoll, it solidified our decision. These were my people.
Florida native or transplant?
I’m a transplant. I grew up in CT and lived there most of my life. In 2016, we moved across the country to Boise, ID. However, in 2018, my husband was offered a new job opportunity in Florida and we moved to Sarasota in July.
We are happily routed into our community and love calling Sarasota home.
What would you tell someone who has never been in for a massage and is feeling a little shy about the whole thing?
I’ve actually had these exact conversations recently with friends. I let them know that they have total control over their experience. In our app, guests can set their preferences such as pressure, lighting, oil or lotion, and specific areas to avoid. If someone is new to massage, I’d suggest they start off with a 50-min massage with light-medium pressure, and maybe focus on an area of their body they are most comfortable working on. If at any time they are uncomfortable, they should let their massage therapist know.

I personally love this, because after my massage I want to stay in a relaxed state and most times don’t want to be conversational after.
If you had a day to yourself to go out in Sarasota, where would we find you?
What’s that? LOL
With 2 active boys (9) and (12) this mama doesn’t get much time to herself. However, if I did, I’d certainly find a great coffee shop, go to a yoga class, get a pedicure, or head to the beach!
What are a few of your favorite things about living in the sunshine state?
I love the amount of time we get to spend being active outside all year. Although the summers are hot and humid, it sure beats the gloom of winter up north.
