The singer got candid about the whole surrogacy process and the struggles that he and his partner have been going through while trying to become parents. Lance Bass opened up, updating fans and revealing that he and husband Michael Turchin are really hopeful that it will happen soon for them after their last attempt ended in miscarriage.

Lance Bass and Michael Turchin, who have been married since 2014, have been trying their best to start a family but, unfortunately, their surrogate suffered a miscarriage back in March.

That was, in fact, the pair’s ninth try to conceive via an egg donor.

Regardless of all of these failed attempts, the NSYNC star and his hubby are not planning on giving up on parenthood and Lance is actually pretty positive that it will happen soon.

During an interview for HollywoodLife, he dished that ‘The adventure I’m looking forward to in life next is becoming a Dad. I think that it is going to completely change my life — all of your priorities completely change and I think that I am ready for that now. We have been working on that for a few years. We haven’t had the best luck.’

As fans may be aware, the couple’s IVF journey began back in 2017 so it’s been nearly three years of failed attempts already.

While most people would be really discouraged by this amount of bad luck, Lance and Michael are very hopeful and continue to try!

Unfortunately, the quarantine has not helped at all either!

‘Hopefully soon we’ll have good news, but this quarantine hasn’t helped at all with the whole process. We just have run into some bad luck here and there, but we’re getting closer. Unfortunately, we lost a surrogate and now we have to find another, we can then get pregnant,’ Lance told the news outlet.
