My take? He’s not closeted, but he’s not making any formal announcement, just being LGBT in plain sight.

I think his family situation fucked him up and he's not sure where he wants to be with his sexuality. Those kids were exposed to a lot between Will and Jada's "fluid" sexuality antics. Will has admitted that he is closer to Willow and that to him, her opinion and approval matter most. Jaden is out in the cold when it comes to Will so that has more than likely complicated his feelings about men in his life.

The public knows way too much about this family. They are creepy and should keep to themselves. It doesn't do anyone any good to air all their dirty laundry in public while covering up Scientology-adjacent creepiness.
