With all the snow this week, many are eager to drive up to Bogus Basin for fresh powder. Several schools in the area, including BSU, have called a snow day for Friday, so many people are making the trek up the hill.

Bogus reports receiving 10 inches of fresh snow in the last 12 hours, with plenty more on the way.

High winds are already being reported past mile marker eight going up Bogus Basin Road, and gusty winds of 45 to 50 mph are expected throughout the afternoon ahead of the next storm front heading this way.

Bogus Basin reports snow drifts and high winds with moderate traction going up the hill.

Very cold windchills are headed this way, brought by the gusty winds coming from the Arctic. Temperatures are expected to drop throughout the day, which is 13 degrees at Bogus Basin. Heavy mountain snow is expected Saturday, with an estimated four to eight inches in the valley.
