Ayan Mukerji is quite excited about bringing the second part of the Brahmastra franchise to the audience. The director, in his latest interviews, spoke about preparing Brahmastra Part 2: Deva.
He revealed that it will be released sooner than the audience is expecting. The director has managed to built mystery about all the characters as well as the story of part two and the audience is quite excited to see if it’s Shah Rukh Khan or Ranveer Singh who will be joining Alia Bhatt and Ranbir in the ‘Astra-verse’.

Ayan Mukherji on Brahmastra part 2 release date, plot, and cast
Opening up on the movie, Ayan has told on Brahmastra 2 that he understands how he doesn’t have 10 years to release its second part. The director further told he can’t wait long enough for the buzz to die and for the audience to forget the mystery of the first movie in franchise.
Speaking to News18, he said, “We’re at it, it will take a couple of years and that’s one hundred percent better than ten years. If we take more than ten years, nobody will come to watch Brahmastra part 2.

The makers of the movie are not in the mood to give even a single hint about who’s playing Dev in part 2 of the movie, Shah Rukh Khan or actor Ranveer Singh. There are rumors that the movie will be released in December 2025 but an official release date isn’t known as of now.
Brahmastra which was the biggest hit of 2022 got released in September of 2022. The movie’s part 2 will be made of the cast with supporting actors Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Mouni Roy, and Amitabh Bachchan joining the ‘astra-verse’. The second part has been expected to be even grander than this.
Brahmastra part 1
Brahmastra’s first edition was a fantasy adventure action film that was released on the 9th of September 2022. This movie has a running time of 168 minutes. This hit 2022 film was made with a budget of INR 450 crore. The budget of part 2 isn’t knwon as of yet.
