Bogus Basin is ending it's 80th year of winter operations Saturday with a party to commemorate the season.

After 119" of snow in March, including 24" on March 30 alone, Bogus quickly announced an extension to their winter season. Bogus stayed open daily through mid-April, and then moved to weekend-only operations for the next several weeks.

The season, which is the longest in Bogus' history, ends May 6th with a party to celebrate what's been Bogus Basin's 80th year.

On Saturday, Bogus will operate the Deer Point Express, Coach Chairlift and their carpets. Bogus announced Friday that Morning Star Express, Pine Creek Express and Superior Express would not operate due to late-season runoff that has flooded the area around the lifts.

All pass holders will have access to Bogus Basin's slopes, and tickets will also be sold at the window for non-pass holders.

Bogus Basin will be open Saturday, May 6 from 9 a.m. till 4:30 p.m. The high tomorrow at Bogus is expected to be 39 degrees, and snow showers are expected early, followed by party cloudy conditions.

After lifts close for the final runs of the 2022-2023 season, Bogus will begin preparations for their summer season, with new attractions set to open in the coming month.

Bogus Basin totaled 356" of snow for this winter season.
