Alexa Bliss reveals her ambitious plans after coming back to WWE from pregnancy hiatus

Former Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss is currently away from in-ring competition as she is on maternity leave. Bliss and her husband, Ryan Cabrera, are expecting their first child, due in December 2023. Therefore, Little Miss Bliss is expected to be inactive from WWE programming for quite some time.

However, this didn’t stop the 31-year-old from revealing her plans for when she is ready to come back. She took to Twitter to put the entire women’s division on notice, stating that, “Once I’m able to, I’m kicking down the damn door – taking my place & what’s mine.” It is clear that Alexa Bliss will be coming for one of the women’s titles. Bliss has also previously mentioned that she isn’t thinking about rushing back to work after her pregnancy.

The 3-time Women’s Tag Team Champion wrestled his last televised match at this year’s Royal Rumble. She faced Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship in a losing effort. Later, in March, Bliss announced she had been diagnosed with skin cancer caused by the use of tanning equipment. Her last feud with Belair has seen the return of her spooky character, which was associated with the returning Bray Wyatt.

Alexa Bliss has had a tough couple of years, filled with injuries and gimmick changes. She last held a Women’s world title in 2018, and many of her fans will be hoping that she reclaims her crown when she returns. It is yet to be known whether she continues her spooky persona or reverts back to the more successful “Goddess” character.

Alexa Bliss has been a pivotal name in the Women’s Revolution

Bliss made her main roster debut in 2016 when she was drafted to SmackDown from NXT. The rookie took only six months to win gold, as she beat Becky Lynch to claim the NXT Women’s Championship. Little Miss Bliss was not only a decent wrestler, but her character work as an arrogant superstar was well received.

She continued to impress as she won the women’s title on both brands over the next couple of years. Alexa made the perfect villain for the likes of Bayley, Sasha Banks, and Ronda Rousey, earning her praise from fans and colleagues. Later, her team with Nikki Cross helped rejuvenate the bleak female tag team division alongside the likes of the Kabuki Warriors.

The 31-year-old is a pivotal name in the “Women’s Revolution” and has uplifted the women’s division. She has been boosting the reputation of female wrestling around the world. Alexa Bliss is expected to return to WWE next year around WrestleMania 40, which could perhaps revitalize her WWE run.
